Great article, I wish parents would be more open with positive parenting with children having disabilities. You have to do a lot of hand holding but also cater to the needs of that child and teach them at the same time how to be dependent and prepared for the future.

A fun time was had by all! Please bring your daughters to next year's events. Mary Beth is still walking around saying "I won. They called my name." And she plans on wearing her sash and tiara for the first day of school.
